Pinocchio’s Nursery was founded in January 1997, and offers care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Since the first nursery opened, Pinocchio’s has extended to five sites across Edinburgh and Midlothian. Each nursery has top class facilities and offers the family the very best in childcare.

We are seeking an experienced Practitioner and a Support Worker to work in our Penicuik nursery.

For the Practitioner role, you must have the necessary qualifications to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Practitioner. You should also be registered if it has been required for you to do so.

For the Support Worker role you do not need a formal childcare qualification, however we do ask that you have at least a 3 in Standard Grade English (or equivalent) and at least two other Standard Grades between 1 and 4 (or equivalent). You will need to have the willingness and ability to study an HNC / SVQ3 or equivalent in Early Years Care and Education. We will support you in sourcing a suitable course.
